Peter Obi has said he would remain within Nigeria during his holiday periods if Nigerians elect him president in 2027.
Speaking in an Independence Day message, the former Anambra State governor said he intended to use such periods to travel across the country and interact with citizens in different communities.
Obi mentioned several states, including Borno, Zamfara, Kwara, Ebonyi and Edo, as places he would visit, saying the trips would help him gain first-hand insight into the conditions and concerns of Nigerians.
He also outlined his commitment to tackling insecurity and improving economic conditions, particularly by creating an environment where farmers can work freely, children can access education and businesses can thrive.
The presidential hopeful said his proposed administration would place emphasis on accountable leadership and measurable improvements in the lives of citizens.
