The National Rescue Movement presidential candidate, Esther Okereke, has outlined plans to confront hunger, insecurity, unemployment and other challenges confronting Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Okereke disclosed this during the inauguration of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council, where she said her campaign would focus on finding practical solutions to the difficulties facing citizens.
She stated that the NRM would prioritise issues affecting the daily lives of Nigerians, particularly food insecurity, rising unemployment and growing concerns over safety across the country.
The presidential candidate also revealed that the campaign structure had been established across the six geopolitical zones, with directorates and grassroots structures extending to states, local government areas, wards and polling units.
Speaking at the event, the party’s National Chairman, Chinedu Obi, said the NRM remained committed to promoting accountable leadership and building stronger institutions capable of improving the welfare of Nigerians.
