The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has advised serving graduates to explore investment opportunities and other legitimate ways of earning money, stressing that a single income may not be enough to meet their financial needs.

Nafiu encouraged the corps members to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and take advantage of opportunities that could help them achieve financial stability beyond their service year.

He also urged them to consider investing in the stock market and acquiring practical skills that could provide additional earning opportunities rather than depending solely on paid employment.

Beyond financial matters, the NYSC director-general called on the graduates to make their presence felt in their host communities by contributing to educational development and sharing their knowledge with others.

Meanwhile, the Anambra State NYSC Coordinator, Pauline Ojisua, disclosed that 1,623 corps members had registered for the ongoing orientation exercise in the state. She commended their cooperation and participation in activities aimed at ensuring the smooth running of the camp.
