The Bank of Industry has provided Nigerian business owners with an online route to seek financing for their enterprises, allowing applicants to begin the process without visiting a physical branch.

Through the MyBOI platform, applicants can create an account, complete their business profiles, select a suitable financing option and submit the required information electronically. The digital process is designed to make it easier for entrepreneurs to access the bank’s various funding opportunities.

Business owners are expected to provide supporting documents based on the type of facility they are seeking. These may include business registration documents, valid identification, bank statements, tax information, business plans and other documents required for the particular financing programme.

Applicants are also advised to carefully review the conditions attached to their preferred loan facility before submitting their requests. Requirements can vary depending on the amount being requested, the nature of the business and the financing programme involved.

Once an application has been submitted, applicants can monitor its progress through their online dashboard. However, completing the application does not automatically guarantee approval, as applications remain subject to the bank’s eligibility checks, assessment and credit requirements.
