The Nigeria Basketball Federation Electoral Committee has fixed 2pm on Thursday, October 8, 2026, as the final deadline for candidates seeking positions on the federation’s board to submit their nomination forms.
The committee chairman, Dr Lanre Glover, said the deadline would be strictly enforced and that late submissions would not be accepted.
He noted that the election timetable had already been released as stakeholders prepare for the emergence of a new NBBF leadership.
The electoral congress is scheduled to take place in Abuja on October 15, where delegates will elect the federation’s new board.
