The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is set to review the challenges confronting faith-based education at a stakeholders’ summit scheduled for November 5, 2026.
The event will take place at the church’s international headquarters in Redemption City, Mowe, Ogun State, bringing together professionals and religious leaders involved in the management and delivery of education.
Pastor Folu Adeboye, wife of the church’s General Overseer, is leading the initiative, which is expected to generate discussions on improving educational standards while preserving the Christian identity of church-owned schools.
The summit’s theme, “Revisiting Kingdom Education: The Role of Stakeholders,” highlights the need for cooperation among educators, parents, school proprietors and religious institutions in shaping children’s academic and moral development.
Participants are expected to examine several concerns, including the financial sustainability of Christian schools, leadership practices, teaching methods and the growing influence of secular ideologies on educational content.
The gathering will also consider how Christian institutions can strengthen biblical instruction without neglecting the broader academic requirements needed to prepare pupils for future opportunities.
The RCCG has an established presence in the education sector through Christ the Redeemer’s Schools Management, which oversees about 350 nursery and primary schools in Nigeria and other countries.
The summit is expected to provide a platform for stakeholders to assess existing approaches, exchange ideas and identify practical measures for improving the delivery of Christian education.
