The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated a new campaign headquarters in Lagos Central as the party intensifies efforts to strengthen its political network ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The facility, known as the PBAT-KOH Lagos Central Campaign Headquarters, is located on Joseph Harden Street, Lagos Island. It is designed to coordinate political activities across five local government areas: Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, Surulere, Apapa and Eti-Osa.
Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Director-General of the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Governorship Campaign Organisation, said the centre would provide a platform for campaign planning, consultations and engagement with community leaders, youth groups, women and other stakeholders. He stressed that sustained interaction with residents would be essential to understanding their concerns and strengthening political participation.
The headquarters has 16 offices, a 500-seat auditorium, two conference rooms, a clinic and an outdoor event space that can accommodate 150 people. According to the centre’s administrator and coordinator, Bolaji Yusuf, the facility was principally financed and facilitated by Engineer Tayo Bamgbose-Martins.
The establishment of the centre comes as political parties and support groups begin expanding their organisational structures ahead of the 2027 elections. The APC expects the facility to improve coordination among its members and campaign organisers across Lagos Central, particularly in mobilising supporters for President Bola Tinubu and Lagos governorship candidate Obafemi Hamzat.
