The Bayelsa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has mapped out an extensive grassroots campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections, with all 105 wards in the state listed for direct engagement.
The party’s campaign activities are expected to begin on November 23, following a series of internal preparations and the inauguration of its campaign leadership.
Before the ward-to-ward mobilisation begins, the PDP will hold meetings involving its key organs and party stakeholders as part of efforts to coordinate its campaign structure.
The party said the grassroots outreach would allow its candidates and officials to interact with communities, explain their programmes and address issues of concern to residents.
It further appealed to its members and supporters to maintain unity and ensure that campaign activities are conducted peacefully and in accordance with electoral regulations.
